Hey guys, as promised, here are some Droid Sector exclusive pictures of the new Motorola Cliq XT thats due to launch later this month. In the few minutes Ive spent with it so far, it seems to be a solid phone.  The phone is running Android 1.5 out of the box with Blur, but will more than likely be updated to 2.1 in the near future. Its packing a 5MP camera with LED flash, which makes it only the 2nd Android phone with T-Mobile with a flash. The XT has also been shipped with the virtual keyboard toting Swype, which has gotten mixed reviews thus far. In using it myself, Swype seems to work pretty well, even if you dont touch all the letters in your word, its able to figure out what im trying to say. As Ive said in the past, this seems to be a smart move for Motorola. By offering both a full keyboard device, as well as an all touchscreen device they will be able to appeal to a broader range of smartphone users.
